Well let’s update on the research thus far. I came across some things to help assist with tracking my ovulation. Pregmate has ovulation and pregnancy tests and are 99% accurate in detecting your ovulation. So I decided to try it out for myself and see how it would go. So far I’ve been tracking my ovulation and everything has been on track with the Flo app. I got one set to test out how it would work and match with the Flo app predictions. From December –February cycles they were 29 days. February I got the Flu and strep. So my March cycle started later in like the 41 days. However, the strips when I started testing in the app was It actually was exact on point for my ovulation day based off the positive test results. For my March cycle the positive tests lasted for 5 days.
When getting off birth control my cycles were irregular and I couldn't track my ovulation as accurate as I would've wanted too. I did this in combination with the app to make sure I was getting the best results possible. If you do track using the basal thermometer as well I will
say that noticing the drop in your temperature is a great indicator that you are close if not around your ovulation time. Trying to do the CM tracking, was something I let go of because I didn't feel like it was helping (or I was just doing it wrong lol). These strips really helped in tracking the length of time too for how long my ovulation window was. So if you have irregular cycles this will definitely help to keep you on track!
