Many people have probably used or heard of the Flo App. When I got off birth control things became irregular with my cycles. Trying to figure out a regular schedule was hard, until a friend of mine told me about it. Of course did my research and saw the feedback and what I really liked was the options on what to track. So not only can you track your period, but if you are wanting to track your ovulation to get pregnant and even after to track your pregnancy progress; you can do it all! The purpose of me getting the app during this time was of course to get pregnant. You can track your ovulation, Basal Temperature, CM (cervical mucus) and your emotions etc. There is also a discrete community chat with other women where you can have discussion and ask questions. Even tips and medical, nutrition and health/wellness advice from doctors, OBGYNs and other health professionals are available. This was all helpful when tracking my ovulation. Again, I used this along with the
Pregmate ovulation strips. After a few cycles, things really synced with the start and stop of my cycle.
One thing I will say is that the community is helpful, but honest. I did have to stay clear of it because of the conversation on failed pregnancy tests or miscarriages. When you are in the process of trying, keeping a positive mindset and energy space is important. You can really get in your own head, and start thinking the worse if things aren't going "as planned". To protect my energy and space, that was something I had to be careful on letting in. Other than that, all the tips and advice is extremely helpful!
Now once you get your positive and it's time to track your pregnancy! Everything switches, and it gives you a week by week what to expect and where your baby should be at along with health and wellness tips for you and baby! With your body changing and growing a baby, a lot changes. So having these resources allowed me to understand things that were happening with my body as well.
See the video below on what to expect:
Of course everything comes with a price. For this app it is $9.99 monthly, but I assure you it is worth the investment!
