It’s election day! Biden and Kamala Harris are running for the presidential office against Trump and Pence. This is definitely a different time and age we are in with being in a Pandemic on top of all of this. However, we had a bright side to our day today. Today was our 1st prenatal check up! (Yayyy!) I’ve been looking forward to this moment for a while now and just wanting to see the birth center and where we would be having our child. I’m very happy and excited that we get to tour the facility and meet our midwife. Our visit was amazing as was our midwife Francis. She was so caring, reassuring and just made me feel more comfortable. Our appointment was for 3:30 and we left at 5. Of course with pre-work but that needed to happen. Along with all that we got to hear our baby’s heartbeat! I was so excited to hear his heart. I did not think I would be able to hear anything today, but it all worked out. I did have a moment and cry my tears of joy lol but it was a beautiful thing and moment that Tony and I got to share. Thursday we get to see the ultrasound and get some print-offs for keepsake and I can’t wait for that (ahhh!). We will get to share it with our parents at Thanksgiving. Now, I have a better peace and understanding knowing that he’s alive and there lol..it was just a minor concern because I’ve been feeling great. We are 2 weeks from ending our 1st trimester. :)
